We care passionately about introducing children to the love of God in Jesus Christ.  A warm welcome to any families interested in finding out about our children’s ministry.  We have a growing group of kids we serve from Kindergarten to Grade 5. Our youngest members are cared for in our Nursery for ages 0-3 staffed by our Nursery worker, Emma. If you have any questions whatsoever, Sydney Caron our Director of Children’s Ministry  (JK – Grade 5), or Kaili Kinnon, our Youth (Grades 6-12) Minister, would love to answer them for you!

Sunday Services With Children and Babies

Every Sunday during the 9 am and 11 am services, Children’s Ministry provides engaging programming that gives kids from Kindergarten to grade 5 the opportunity to know, love and follow Jesus, while having fun and making friends. Children are dropped off and sign-in with a sticker at our Sign-in Desk (situated up the stairs towards the Library/Nursery – look for the signs pointing to Canon Nicholson Hall). We gather all together for songs of worship before kids split off for age-appropriate teaching by dedicated volunteers, with three classrooms available to keep class size small. Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to sit with us to see what we’re all about. Just in time to join their families for Communion, the kids return to the service – keep an eye out for your little one(s).

Babies and children are always welcome to stay with their guardians in the services.

Our Nursery is equipped for babies so you can drop in to feed or change them. Talk to Sydney, or Emma our Nursery care worker, if you feel like your little one is ready to stay in the Nursery during the service.

Our Children’s Ministry Team

There is a solid team of talented and committed Children’s Ministry teachers at St Clement’s who are members of our parish community. All are screened and have completed police record checks. Children’s Ministry is overseen by Sydney Caron, Director of Children’s Ministry and our nursery is staffed by our friendly ECE student, Emma.

Health & Safety

We make every effort to have a safe, healthy, child-friendly space. We are sensitive to children with allergies, so please provide us with any important health information when you register your child. You can find guidelines for when to keep your child at home in our sick-child-policy.
