For love is of God and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God’ – 1 John 4.7-8
We’re thinking ahead!
On her walk the other day, Vivia couldn’t believe the explosion of flowers! Daffodils, Magnolia trees, and Pear trees have all shown God’s glory of creation all over her neighbourhood. . .
which got her thinking about summer.
Which got her thinking about a summer tradition from her childhood: Vacation Bible School. This summer is different from most summers, so we’ve attached a survey about how you’d like to receive summer content for your kids:
Please take a few minutes to complete this very short survey! We love your feedback, take it to heart, and use it to learn more about how to walk with Jesus together with your kid(s).
We’re starting online Children’s Ministry just a little bit later now, at 10:30. This will give you just a little more wiggle room to have a snack, stay online for “coffee hour,” and hear all the announcements before you pass over your device to your little one(s). See you Sunday at 10:30–click here to connect!
Vivia has written a very short prayer that kids and families can say together before bed or anytime of the day:
Lord, help me (us) to pray:
for those I (we) see every day
for those who are far away
and even for those I (we’d) like to push away.
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.
